M.A Humm Ltd are very happy to have recently secured this excellent project for a Suffolk based Groundwork & Landscaping contractor.
It Included:
- The groundwork, civil engineering and infrastructure works to form a Lidl retail store
- Significant cut and fill earthworks, S278 works, public roads and footpaths, surface and foul water drainage.
- New incoming services and ducting
- Extensive retaining wall works

Extensions & Alterations
Cart Lodge £244K
M.A Humm Ltd are very happy to have recently secured this excellent project for a Suffolk based main contractor.
It Included:
- Alterations to the existing cart lodge structure to facilitate a new enclosed ground floor living area with lower level Golf simulation room.
- New internal staircase and opening to be formed to access the existing first floor level to include a further living area, bedroom and bathroom.
- This project also includes extensive structural and strengthening works to the existing structure, notably to form to the new dormer, external works including existing driveway re-figuration works, rear patio and also separate cart lodge foundations and ground floor slab to be constructed in close proximity to the existing in preparation for a future cart lodge construction at a later date.
Sixth Form Learning Centre & Library
TIFFIN SCHOOL £750K
M.A Humm Ltd are very happy to have recently secured this excellent education project for a Sussex based main contractor.
It Included:
- This 20 week project comprised of the conversion of an existing library on two floors by infilling the Atrium to create a first-floor library and a ground-floor Sixth Form learning resource centre.
- Incorporating a complex heating and ventilating system with bespoke lighting, all whilst the school was in exam term.
- Re-landscaping the headmaster’s garden.
